Snowman Stocking Caps

These adorable stocking caps make beautiful garland to add to any holiday decor! They also make the perfect snowman hats, DIY ornaments, and more.

SUPPLIES NEEDED

Scissors

Yarn

Paper Towel Roll or Cardstock

Start by finding an old paper towel roll and cut into 3/4” pieces.

For other size hats, get creative and find other cardboard rolls or tape cardstock into a circle too.

Cut lengths of string or yarn into 10”-12” pieces for this project.

Working one string at a time, fold each string in half.

Then put it through the center of the cardboard roll, back through itself, and pull tight.

Do this with each piece of string all the way around the cardboard roll until it is covered with string/yarn.

Tie strings at top for the stocking cap without a brim or tuck all the strings back through the center of the roll and tie at the top to create a brim on each stocking cap.

Be creative! Use different colors and textures. But, above all, HAVE FUN!!!
